Caetano Machado

Head Coach

Caetano learned to surf when he was only 6 years old and by the age of 14 he was already teaching others. He was a lifeguard for 2 years and competed in the national championship until he decided that freesurf was his true passion.

Lourenço Coelho

Coach

Lourenço is a true sportsperson. He has a bachelor degree in physical education and sports. He was also an athelete in jujitsu, surf, skate... He started to surf when he was 12 years old and he was also a lifeguard for 4 years.

Pedro Machado

Coach

Pedro is "the real soul surfer spirit". He is a laidback surfer, he always has a smile and he never says no to a conversation. He learned how to surf with 6 years of age and at 13 he started to teach. He has entered a few competetions but he always prefered free surfing.

Paulo Machado

CEO

Paulo is one of the first portuguese surfers. He started to surf in 1972 at S. Pedro do Estoril beach. He is a true oldschool local and the owner of mobydick surf school. He also owns a wholesale surf shop.

How to find us

We teach at plenty of beaches, so you can choose the one that is closest to you. In case you are interested in a distant beach, do not fear, as we can provide transportation. Many of our students from Lisbon seem to find it convenient and cheap to hop on the train in Cais do Sodré. They enjoy a beautiful sightseeing tour and at the end of the ride, we are waiting for them at Cascais Train Station to pick them up.
